| Hello everyone - I would be eternally grateful for help with the following: I compose large MS Word for Mac documents on my ibook G4. When I give a command to number the pages of my documents by choosing 'insert page numbers' from the dropdown menu, the numbers duly appear in a feint grey type at the bottom of each page in correct sequence. BUT when i come to print out the document, they never appear. It is driving me to distraction. I am having to send across all my documents to my PC and spend ages reformatting them in MS Word for Windows (the italicised passages have disappeared and the fonts are different when I open the files on my PC). Why no printed page numbers please? Thanks a million Pixie. |

| Maybe the printer cant print that far down. I know most printers, which aren't laser, can't print that low.

| (1) Did you do a page setup for that particular printer? (2) What does a print preview show? (3) What version of Word are you using?
