| iphoto crashes when trying to import Hi, My iphoto repeatedly crashes when trying to import. When I relaunch, it says some were not imported, and asks if I want to import them into the library, in which it crashes again, and has doubles of the recovered files. My camera (Canon SD600) does not show up in finder when I plug it in (is there any way to see it), as when I plug in a friends camera, I can see it there as well, find the files manually, and drag and drop to iphoto, which then imports with no problems. I can also find the "recovered files" and drag and drop, but not all of them show up. (this is also a big pain) I have run disk utility, but don't know of any other ways to solve this issue. I have the ilife disk, but can't reinstall it as it says I have same version as on the disk (which makes sense). Any help? Thanks in advance! |

| You can change whether iPhoto gets to import from a camera in the app "Image Capture", located in your applications folder. Select preferences from the app menu to change settings.
