| Address book contents in Mail disappeared?? Help...when I wish to add another recipient to a email I am composing, I used to be able to click on the Address Book icon in Mail and add addresses without a problem with a simple click. Now, for some mysterious reason, when I click on it, nothing happens...zilch! Any solutions/incantations would be appreciated... rb |

| Can you see the addresses in address book? Try moving the preference file to the desktop, then launching Mail. It's located in /users/<you>/library/preferences/com.apple.mail.plist

| I appreciate your quick response... In order to log into mail, I now need my .mac.com password, which I do not have written down since I only used the free trial and didn't think I'd ever need it again. How would I retrieve it? Please reply to gyrlph@yahoo.com Need a rescue...thanks. Ralph |

| Got 'er all fixed up... I checked accounts in mail prefs and noticed I had no POP account anymore, due to the "address book" fix you sent me. I re-did that and voila, everything works. The Mail address book now works superbly, BTW Many thanks. I learned than I had planned with your encouragement... rb |
