| Fonts not shown correctly on pdf in Preview 1. Powerbook G4 10.3.9 - Preview version 2.1.0 Opening pdf file created with Chief Architect (created on windows and emailed to me) fonts are all blocks - not text or numbers. Open same file with Adobe Reader 7.0.5 and fonts are fine. 2. Mac Mini 10.4.10 - Preview version 3.0.9 opens file fine and shows fonts and numbers correctly Q: Is it the version of Preview? If so can Preview be updated by itself or is it an entire OSX update? I could not find any software updates for Preview. The font should not be the issue - coming from the C.A. program the font is Blueprint bd which is not on either of my Macs. I searched for Preview on this forum and had 0 results? Thank you |

Are you asking if Preview is an app which is separate and apart from the version of MacOS X that it shipped with? No, it is the graphics viewer for the OS. It is not available separately. |
