Preview Icons of JPG's displayed after OS9-boot in OSX

Hi there,
Just a short one. My G3 Powerbook runs smooth within OS Classic and OSX 10.2.8 on two partitions. A JPG file is displayed in OSX with the common white icon indicating JPEG. After rebooting to OS Classic and subsequent rebooting to OSX the JPG icon changes in a preview icon the same size.
Is there a possibility to retrieve the preview icon immediately without the reboot procedure.
Regards,
Juergen
