| Quicksilver closing immediately Problem: I download the .dmg file of quicksilver. Then I would execute QS and the big QS symbol spins onto the screen, but then it would disappear. Attempted solutions: Looked EVERYWHERE. I've tried to repair disk, reinstall, delete everything and reinstall. Nothing seems to work.  |

| Did you have a previous install where you turned off the menu bar icon and the dock icon? Open the Activity Monitor and find out if it IS in fact funning, when I was having problems with QS I would find it there highlighted in red and it would say (Not Running). Force Quite from there and try to launch again. If all else fails trash preferences and try start again.
