install from flash drive

I am new to Mac and do not have any documentation for an EMac I purchased at a yard sale. How do I install a program from a flash drive. I have been unable to open the setup.exe.

DeltaMac will become famous soon enough
You cannot install Windows or a Windows app on your eMac. It will only boot and run a Mac OS. If you didn't get any disks with that eMac, you can find OS X installer disks on eBay. Just verify that the disks are black original system installs, and not the grey disks that ship with a Mac system. Many of those will not work with your eMac, unless you are lucky enough to get the correct disks.
Mac OS X 10.4 should be your best choice, and would install on any model eMac, assuming a minimum of 256MB of RAM memory.

I am not trying to install an OS, just a tiny program. In this case it is Propel Accelerator which is Windows or Mac compatible. I am, unfortunately, unable to get Broadband so I have to settle for a 26K connection via dialup. I have used this program on my Windows PC for 3 years and works. Thanks for the info on the installer disks. My EMac has Mac OSX 10.3.9 and seems to work fine. I am having a lot of fun trying to learn how the Mac functions/

The .exe file that you have will not work on your eMac. The Mac version of Propel is a separate download. Also, the site does not have any current information on Mac web browsers. For example - Internet Explorer is now considered to be obsolete on the Mac, even by Microsoft. Safari is now at version 3, and other web browsers commonly used on Macs, such as Firefox and Camino, are hardly mentioned at all.
Not very good Mac support, I'm afraid - especially for a service for which you pay monthly...
