Dashboard reinstall

I had problems with Dashboard not working when I had an earlier version of OSX, so I deleted the application.
I installed Leopard and hoped it would reinstall my dashboard, but it did not.
Is there a way to reinstall Dashboard?

Download the shareware Pacifist and exact the application from the Leopard Install Disk. Another way is just do another install of OS X Leopard but do it using the Archive & Install options. The will put your old system into a folder called Previous System folder. Also when you do the Archive & Install don't install the 10.5.1 Update through Software Update. Download the the full 110MD 10.5.1 Update and run it beacause this larger update will replace system files instead of just updating them.
