| My address book app is missing for some reason. Have I lost all of my contacts and addresses? What would cause this to happen (outside of trashing the app, manually)? Thanks Last edited by lagunillas; November 26th, 2007 at 11:54 AM. |

| Is it missing from your Applications folder or just from the Dock? What version of OS X are you using and on what Mac?

| It's missing from my Applications folder. The icon in the dock has a question mark over it, signifying that it can't find the app. I can reload the app from the original disk, but I didn't know if it would overwrite the data that's in there now. I still have the AddressBook.data file. |

| Well try to use the shareware Pacifist and get the application from the install disk with it. Just after you get the Address Book run Software Update to update the application.
