Big system file mess after crash

Crashed my startup disk on G5 running Tiger. Used Diskwarrior to rebuild directory, but disk was so crashed I couldn't compare the old and new directories. So I just retrieved everything to an external drive, reformatted the internal drive and copied all back to it. The startup disk utility did not recognize the internal drive as having a system on it. Lo and behold, Diskwarrior has created an ominous sounding folder full of "rescued items", most of which look like system files. Am I screwed?

I have Leopard on a disk but my superdrive door is jammed (yeah, I know - what a loser!). The IT guy next door will help me with that tomorrow, I hope. Or perhaps I can install a Tiger upgrade over the old system? Or I could go through the "rescued items" and try to figure out where they should go. Any help out there for me? TIA.
