Roxio Popcorn Mounting Trouble

I just started using Roxio Popcorn and after completing burning a DVD I ejected it and tested it in my DVD player. It played fine so I took it out and put it back in my mac which is where I watch most of my movies, however it would not read and eventually just ejected the disc. Why wouldn't it mount if it plays fine in a DVD player? Any suggestions?
