| Trying to get canon camera to work When I plug camera in USB nothing happens On other peoples mac iphoto pops up or something I installed CD zoom browser etc. Tiger  |

| Camera insertion is one of the settings in OS X that is not quite where you think it might be: Open your Image Capture app, and then preferences/General tab. make sure that Camera is set for iPhoto to open when camera is connected. - OR, you can choose some other app to launch with a camera, if you want to.
