Can I re-install Ilife06 from my Tiger Disks?

Searched and couldn't find an answer...

I have an Intel G5 that came with Tiger Disks and I've since upgraded it with a retail copy of Leo and iLife 08 too. I've bought a second machine now (iMAC G4) which had a 10.3.x OS and I thought I'd just go ahead and install my unused version of Tiger on it...

A few hours of kernal problems later I now understand the difference between retail vs machine specific OSX disks : )

QUESTION > Looks like I need to buy a new copy of Tiger or Leo for my G4. I think I'll go Leo even though it may be a bit slow but I want to use iLife 06 rather than 08 on it. Can I use my G5 Tiger disks to install iLife 06 onto my G4?

> Is this legal? I would think so given that I've since purchased iLife 08 for the G5 and am not using iLife 06 anymore.
