carver is on a distinguished road
Talking Leopard upgrade on Imac G5

Looking for advice before upgrading my 3 year old Imac G5, 1.8 Ghz, 2 GB sdram, 10.3.9 to leopard. Mostly used for Pic's, Music, word and excel documents..... Thanks !

Hi Carver,
Make a backup, and then backup everything to an external disk or discs or SAN or NAS or SNAS or where ever you keep your backups. Once this is done (you could even use carbon copy cloner for a fast and clean copy everything), you are ready to install. On top of 10.3, you will only be able to do a clean install.
