song length changes from itunes to idvd

hi,

i'm trying to create a dvd on idvd. i have a quick slideshow with 25 photos and i selected a song from itunes to use. the song is live and goes into another song, so i just wanted to clip the end so it doesn't play that part during the slideshow.

in itunes, i changed the song's info to stop at a certain point (ie: 2:17 instead of the normal 2:25). it seemed to work fine in itunes, but when i use the song in idvd, it still plays the entire thing. how do i fix this?
