Apple Backup Software Error

I have been using Apple Backup for quite awhile but all of a sudden I get the following error when scheduled backups are supposed to occur:

"Begin backup at 2008-02-28 20:12:01.843 -0500
Scanning files...
Acquired a destination for the backup.
An internal application error has occurred. The disk archive could not be attached.
End backup at 2008-02-28 20:12:09.213 -0500"

I'm using Leopard 10.5.2. I was working great but all of a sudden all my backups are getting this error. I'm backing up to my .mac account and a internal hard drive.

Thanks,

Tom

Does anyone have a solution to this? I need a solution too as this has just started happening to me.
