After upgrading to Leopard, I can't write to my external SCSI Raid. It's formatted "Mac OS Extended", but under "Sharing & Permissions" in the info window, it says "You can only read". Then under the Name and Privilege columns, everyone is toggled to Read & Write, "Ignore ownership on this volume" is checked on, but all these things are grayed out and un-selectable. The SCSI controller is an ATTO ExpressPCI UL5D, and up to date. Tried fixing with Disk Utility, Cocktail, Super Get Info. Thanks! Tudor

I'm having exact same problem. Completely unexpected after upgrading. I think the only option is to move data, reformat drive, and rebuild RAID. Mike

If you have a Huge Systems SCSI RAID... I have a Huge Systems RAID unit (now owned by a company called Ciprico), and it turns out to be the culprit. If you have the same, it's quite likely you'll need to flash update it. Having gone through this, I can tell you that it's far easier to flash using a Windows XP computer. You'll have to download the flash update from their website, and probably buy a cable - at least that was the case for my model, a Mediavault U320. Here's the link http://kb.ciprico.com/lore/article.php?id=199 Thanks for your contribution here.
