DVD Player won't play my DVD

I have a quicktime MOV file which I'm trying to burn on to DVD. I used Compressor to create a MPEG-2 file and then used DVD studio pro to burn the DVD. The DVD will play on my computer but not on our US DVD Player. I cannot remember if the MOV file is in PAL or NTSC but I think US DVD players have problem with PAL so I assume this might be my problem...

I burned a DVD from DVD STUDIO PRO with the PAL setting on, and one with NTSC setting on and have the same problem

I also used the Quicktime export options to export the .MOV file as DV/ NTSC but it did not change anything.

Does this mean I have to use some other software to convert my MOV file to NTSC and if so are there any free options?

Does anyone have other ideas as to what the problem could be?

I'm not sure how you burned this, but if you just burned a .mov file, it's not going to work.

I dont know what youve done either. Try using Toast. It will automatically convert your .mov to dvd files then burn them to DVD.
