| Transfering photoshop 6 from a mac G3 Hi there, I have just brought myself a brand new imac running os X version 10.5. I previously had an old G3 imac that i purchased back in 1999 which was running os 9.2. I was trying to transfer my photoshop 6 software from the old G3 to the new mac via my flash drive so i could view my old work and start new work until i can get a newer version of the photoshop software.I copied it into my applications folder. However when i transfered photoshop onto my new mac,it would'nt open: Error message: There is no default application specified to open the document adobe photoshop 6.0.1. It is also saying that it is a Unix executable file. Does this mean that i will not be able to use this version of photoshop on my new mac and not be able to work on my previous photoshop documents? Or is there a simple solution to this? I'm very new to the latest Imac technology and would appreciate any advice that you can give on this problem. Thank you. |

| Believe me, I found out the hard way: The ONLY version of PS that will run on an Intel Mac and OS10.5+ is CS3 (Photoshop 10.0). The only thing that you can save is all of your pics.
