Annoying Driver/Leopard Issue

I don't know too much about Macs, so bear with me.

I have an Intel Macbook 15", and I recently upgraded to Leopard.

I just attempted installing my printer driver, and I can't get my printer to work. I've tried reinstalling the driver, setting it as default, etc..., to no avail.

The error I receive is "Error Number 306 - Communication Error has Occured, Make Sure that the Printer is plugged in, powered on, and properly connected to your computer. Then try printing again."

Everything is powered on and connected. I've tried restarting. The printer worked fine just before upgrading to Leopard.

Thanks in advance!!
