packet writing in Leopard?

Hi,

I just installed Leopard and on the web I read that Leopard is capable of packet writing to CD-RW/DVD-RW. Is this true and how can I do it? Disk Utils doesn't offer it: only erase/rewrite is available (which I've already tested).
