iTunes will only open folders in iDVD

I have been using iDVD for quite a few years, and am quite familiar with the software. I have never had any issues prior to today regarding adding iTunes music to my project.

This morning, however, I went to add music to the project, however, iTunes is only opening folders, and will not open the folders to show the music. This includes when I click on library. Only one song will play (which will be the first on the list). Never encountered this problem before, and would appreciate any assistance in how to correct it.
