You're favorite shareware apps

We haven't done this in a while and I find it's a good way to be exposed to new software that I wouldn't have ever found otherwise.

So, what are your 5 (or less) favorite shareware/freeware apps? Please give us a little description and a link. I'll start:

Acquisition It's gotta be the best P2P client out for the Mac.

MacPublisher Pro A simple, yet quite functional desktop publishing app that's perfect those who don't want to drop $100 on a similar Adobe product.

Moodstats A little app that's like a personal journal. I find it perfect to keep track of my diet, excersize, mood and other routines. Quite interesting if you keep up with it!

Omnigraffle This software is awesome if you make a lot of flowcharts or diagrams.

There one shareware that beats all others:

GraphicConverter

Also very useful:

iDraw

Useful for creating images, animated GIFs, and simple Flash animations.

yea, graphic converter is a gem

others i use are -

PhotoLine - for when i don't really need all that GC has to offer. quick and easy to use.

Folder icon X - creates custom folder icons

IconComposer - for creating custom icons

FreeSpace - really handy with multiple drives for getting an overview of the amount of used and free space available on all of them - individually and combined.

in truth, all 3 of my drives are littered with such apps that i find at versiontracker and rarely use. some i've never even tried or been able to figure out how to use.

I just had a little problem installing it as I had never worked with the terminal command before but the httpmail app is solid.

http://www.versiontracker.org/dyn/moreinfo/macos/18189

It works great now, letting me have access to my hotmail account and my .mac account through the Mail application.
Others include:

iBert, cuz you gotta have your regular dose of Dilbert.

http://www.versiontracker.org/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18346

WeatherPop, although I wish there was a way to use this app with international sites as well.

http://www.versiontracker.org/dyn/moreinfo/macos/14483

Cocktail, a nice system utility, especially for freeware.

http://www.versiontracker.org/dyn/moreinfo/macos/18282

RocketLauncher, which lets you put apps in the menu bar rather than the dock or an alias.

http://www.versiontracker.org/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16618

Delocalizer, which cleans up some pre-installed language packs.

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9281

Plasma Tunnel Saver, a cool screen saver.

Ok, before I go on, among others I use on a regular basis are msn messenger, voicebox, googlenews, kinoma producer and palmreader.

Goldberg is an excellent bare-to-bones image editor (and it's freeware BTW), while ImageIndexer builds perfect HTML portofolios with them.

Transmit_is a FTP client that rocks.

Acquisition (P2P) is great too.

BBEdit_is the ultimate bare-to-bones text/code editor.

iPulse and Konfabulator are super desktop add-ons. CandyBar_also customizes your Desktop in the most beautiful way.

MPlayer OSX_beats all media players (incl. VLC, IMHO, check specific thread). DivX Doctor and Avi2Mov (free) also helps with some AVI files.

Finally, I like Web Devil_(site sucker, equivalent to Windows HTTrack) a lot. Helped me a lot when I wasn't on DSL.

I went to look for iPulse and came across this...

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/

Most of the apps mentioned so far are here, some updated. So someone at Apple must read this forum.

Btw, just saw on WeatherPop, that if you upgrade to advance (14 day trial), you get more info plus the option to add international sites.

My favorites are the aforementioned GraphicConverter and Weather Pop.
I also like Window Shade very much. It brings back the collapsible window feature that I find so useful.
