Applications not opening right.

Every time I download an appliction, then try to open it, it trys to open with photoshop.

Help!?

Control/Right-Click on the file and choose 'Get Info'.

Then in the 'Open With' section (click on the black triangle to show more info), from the pull-down menu you can select an app to open the file.

For example if it's a:

• .zip use 'BomArchiveHelper' or 'Stuffit' (especially if the file is password protected, use Stuffit as BAH won't know what to do).
  
• .dmg use 'DiskImageMounter'.
  
• .mpkg use 'Installer'.

Once you've selected the appropriate app, click on the "Change All" button to associate the selected App with all like files.
