Entourage Question

I just had to purchase a new MacBook because my Powerbook died. I have a gmail account but use it more of a backup (all of my email accounts go through gmail and then into Entourage). In setting up Entourage on the new MacBook it wants to try to pull all 12,000 emails in my gmail account over. I would prefer only to bring in new emails, or go back 30 days, but don't want all of them! Is this possible?

You can be selective if you are using POP settings, but not if you are using IMAP.

If you are using POP, sign into Gmail on the web. Go to Settings. Choose Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Under Pop Download choose 'Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on'.
