Scroll PDFs with Apple Remote

I find myself wanting to read a lot of PDFs I buy from my couch; t's more comfy than a chair obviously. However, there's no way to scroll down the pages without getting up after each bit has been read.

I figure, the Apple Remote can control movies and songs, shouldn't it be able to scroll PDFs too? Is there some type of app or add-on that allows it to do this?

Thanks

I am about to purchase RemoteBuddy which AFAIK, can do this ... download this app for the 30 day trial period and see for yourself.

I tried about 2 or 3 other such like apps and found that without moving from my seat I could launch & quit apps, navigate my HD for files, use the Virtual Keyboard & Virtual Mouse to click on any annoying windows that came up while I was watching a movie using EyeTV (such as the update available window), and most of all, I could Sleep or Shut Down my iMac, which was essential to me.

My 30 days have expired otherwise I'd test out the PDF thing, but with Virtual Mouse allowing you to navigate and click on anything, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use the scroll bar or click on the up/down triangles in the right of the window.

It doesn't interfere with Front Row too, whereas another similar app did, and it's available from Apple's website:

Remote Buddy 1.10

Let me know how you go in your search ....
