Microsoft office user licenses

Hi

I have a macbook pro with a copy of Microsoft office 2008 on it. I have recently bought another macbook pro, can I use the same copy of microsft office on it? Will I be able to make updates ok? Or do i need to buy another copy of ms office?

Im not using both of them on the same network.

Thanks in advance

I do not have Office 2008 (just 2004), but I imagine this would apply to Office 2008.
To be certain about licensing you should contact Microsoft Office support and ask them about their policy. Some manufacturer's have different policies. Some will allow this with a small fee attached. But I believe the answer is "yes". Updates should occur normally regardless of which computer you are on. You'll be prompted to update until the version is the most current on each Mac.

DeltaMac will become famous soon enough
Also, it will depend on which edition of Office 2008 you have. The Standard Edition has only a single license. The Home & Student Edition comes with 3 license codes, so if you have that... you will be good to go...
