Help needed with Apple Backup utility and iDisk

Hi! We're having problems with the Apple Backup utility (v. 3.1.2) backing up to iDisk. We're using 319MB of a 10GB iDisk account and are trying to backup about 7GB of photos and documents to iDisk. The backups fail and we get a message indicating Backup was unable to upload the .dmg file that was created as part of the backup process.

Any ideas on where to start looking to find out what could be going wrong?
