can't enable flash with quicktime 7.3 up

I have multiple student labs running PPC or intel macs. I need to run a Broderbund product, Kidpix 4, and up to now had to enable flash in the system preferences in order to get animations to work. This worked up until quicktime was updated to 7.3. Now there is no way to enable flash. Is there a way?

Are you using an older version of the FlashPlayer or just letting Quicktime handle flash?
