Change ethernet MAC address?

I've read my license agreement and it would seem that I am allowed to use, sell, crush, alter, pour acid on, smack with a hammer, or eat my Macintosh, since I own it.

Based on the fact that I own my Mac, I have three questions for you:

How do I change my Ethernet MAC address?

How to I change my lmhostid ?

Is lmhostid simply always just a copy of the Ethernet MAC address, with the colons removed?

Please, no lectures about warranty or any other kinds of lectures, or opinions. I just want to know these three facts about my machine. Thank you!

If you know the answer to one or more of these questions, please reply :-)

Do you mean machine UserName or a chat program name?

No. Depends on the chat program you are using.

To me it sounds like you are trying IRC or newsgroups, is that the case? Do you know about the Tor Project?
