backup of large amount of data

Hi
Got a Xserve with a 1TB raid system connected.

Right now I'm using Retrospect as the backup solution, but it only supports writing to one drive at a time. So the 550 Mb/min performance of my AIT3 loader is simply not fast enough.
I am planning to expand the raid to 2Tb, but that is going to make the backup window too wide.

Anybody know about other software solutions?
