Messed up help centre

I don't know what made this happen, but for some time now the help centre/help viewer seems messed up. I cannot acces the help files of some statistical programs I am using (Aabel, SPSS) and since these are the only ones I sometimes need help for it's quite stupid (other help files e.g. iSync, iMovie seem to work fine). I could open the helpfiles of SPSS in IE, but it is still not the way it should be... Does anyone experience this too, is there something to do about it???

Hmm. I haven't experienced that. The only thing I could think of is that the Help app can't find the files. Is it registering any complaints in the system log when you try to bring up one of these missing help sections?

Well the thing is that it seems to find the 'front-page' of these apps help, but when I click a link nothing happens...

The Help Center is not only slow and buggy and unpleasant to use, it's also long to load, incomplete (bookmarks?) and unequally supported. In brief, it totally stinks.
