I have looked around the versiontracker web site but cant find the program that checks my mac for outdated programs. What are peoples opinions on versiontracker, is there something better out there?

Thanks in advance.

Angry

I have Version Tracker Pro that updates your (3) computer’s software.

I like that, however for the last 3+ months the daily email updates have stopped working for me as my email preferences keep defaulting to NONE when I set them to daily. I wrote them numerous times about this and they refuse to respond at all. This is AFTER I just bought a 2 year subscription.

I use AppFresh. It's still under development and it's not perfect but for the most part it works. It's free while it's under development but that might change in v1.0 and later.

MacUpdate also has a software notification program that notifies you when your software is updated. Check it out at www.macupdate.com.

You could also try Mac Update:
http://macupdate.com/

Great site geared directly toward mac users. Might do a better job than VersionTracker for you.

Also, if you have a free email account, your spam filter might be catching messages from Version Tracker. I know I can't get emails from macosx.com to hotmail because of this.
