| many html pages don't work This is a wierd one. I noticed it first time last night I believe. Some html pages do not work anymore. The bank I go to for payments I can surf around and do almost everything except I can not send an electronic payment. With yahoo mail service, I can do everything including send mail but when i try to send a long message, it does not work. With ebay, as I go through the steps to sell an item, it stops working at step 2. In all of these cases, I click "go" or submit or whatever, and the browser indicates that the processing has started but the connection never completes and eventually it times out. Any ideas would be appricated. It seems to happen from Safari as well as IE. Thanks, pedz |

| Update: I'm running ipfw and natd on 10.2.6 server. I changed my ipfw rules to allow 443 and 80 to and from my server address and that solved my problem. This raises two questions: 1) why did it work sometimes but not other times? 2) why did it change from working all the time to working only partically? One thing I noticed is at least of the troubled web pages was asp's. If anyone has any ideas, I would like to understand this.
