iSync device icons.

I am using iSync with my cell phone. It works great. iSync has the correct model number for the phone but wrong icon. Is there a way to change tge icon for this device? I have an icon for my phone that i like to use...

Thanks, Michael

I have a motorola v60p. iSync does have an icon for the v60i but it does not use that for the v60P, insted it uses a generic phone. How did you change the icon exactly?

1) i copied the old icon from the BTconduit.bundle
2) i opened it up (after making a copy of it that i put in a safe place) in photoshop (lets call that version A).
3) i opened up the picture that i wanted to replace it with (Version B) and copied it into Version A after clearing version A. I did this to get the right sizes.
4) Then i made a transparency mask (make sure you have a transparent background) to get the softness of the shadow right. This was easy since i copied it from an icon.
5) saved it (use the same name as the cellphone you want to replace)
6) droped it in the same folder as the original in the BTConduit.bundle and when it asked if i wanted to replace the object with the same name i answered "Yes, indeed"

But be careful. you should make a backup of the BTConduit before you get started
everything is a lot easier if you are just going to make some minor changes to the existing picture.

iSync T610 icon

Hi, I tried to get the nice shadow icon to work, but never got the transparency to work on the shadow. I fyou don't mind, I would love a copy of your T610 icon. You wouldn't happen to have an icon for the T68 also?

Thanks
