Thunderbird (addressbook import, gpg etc)

How can I import OS X's AddressBook's contacts to Thunderbird?

I tried addressbook backup - not recognized in Thunderbird.

Selecting everything and saving as a group vcard - gets recognized on thunderbird side, but import fails. And fails again.

Is there a fast way to import GPG too? I had a look on the thunderbird / gpg site but all I found was source, and it was for x86. I would like to be able to use my gpg / pgp keys, but I don't want to install the full GPG options on this machine.
