| .Mac-style slide show without .Mac? .Mac has a nice web slide show feature. It creates a page of thumbnail images, and clicking on any individual thumbnail launches a second window with the full-size image and some nice backward/forward navigation buttons. I don't want to use .Mac. I'd like to find an app that can take a directory of images on my local drive and generate a similarly good-looking, ready-to-upload web slide show. Of the bundled Panther software, Image Capture and iPhoto both have this functionality, but the web pages are fairly ugly and clunky-looking (intentionally, I think, in order to drive people to .Mac). Any pointers much appreciated. |

The better search term on vt turned out to be "web photo album", and the best app appears to be WebPics: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/10755 |
