How do I read Non-Mac/non-PC discs?

I've got some Zip disks and CDs that are for my E-Synth sampling keyboard. They won't mount in OS X or Windows XP ibviously, but I was wondering if there was a way to force-mount them so I can extract the raw audio files.

There is software that can help with the CDs (Chicken Systems Translator for one) so I can manage that some day. But the zip disks are not supported (I think).

have you tried (command, option, i) sequence when inserting disc?

sometimes I can see weird things if you view through "toast"

Try booting in 9

*never mind it's a zip disk not a CD**

Is there no other format options from the dump menu of the keyboard??
