Removing Icon 802.1X from Internet Connect Window

Hi,
By mistake I created an 802.1X set up that now shows an icon in the top of Internet Connect Window.
How can I get read of it?

Try dragging it off holding the Option key down.

Try trashing;

com.apple.internetconnect.plist
