| OSX DVD Player issue Hi guys, Ive got an annoying problem im hoping someone can help me with. Im running Panther on a G4 tower with a built in CD-R. Ive just purchased a Firewire DVD-RW which works fine...However, when I click on the DVD Player app to watch a film the message comes up "There was an initialization error...A valid DVD drive could not be found. (-70012). like I said the actual player burns fine, and ive installed programs off it too. I just cant watch films! Any ideas as to what to do? Thanks alot |

| Apple's DVD player doesn't like external drives. Try VLC from versiontracker.com.
