imac g5 + tiger + toast

i've recently installed tiger on my imag g5 1.8 with dvdr/rw
since tiger i have some problems burning cds with toast
when it's writing lead-out, an error message appears saying "illegal hardware error bla bla bla"
on panther i have never seen problems

anyway i've noticed that when writing an iso 9660 cd, the system freeze for a couple of second on lead-in write, this happened also on panther

any help?

I also have Toast, but I don't have any problems with it.

Did you upgrade instead of a clean install when installing Tiger?
