StuffIt expander problem

This is my problem:

I've downloaded quake 3 1.30 patch for mac os x.
The file is in .bin format and when I click on it to expand,
StuffIt shows me this error:

Sorry, but a disk related error (37) has prevented the operation from concluding.

My OS is server 10.1 and I use StuffIt 6.5.

I'm sure that the file isn't corrupted 'cause the same file works on OS 10.1 client.

What do you suggest?

Thanx,
