| automatically connect to Microsoft network Hello, I would like my mac to automatically connect to a special server of the microsoft network in my enterprise whenever it detects the network. Is there a way? For the moment, I always have to manually connect to the server, which is a bit bothering with the time. I'd appreciate any help! Best, Bernhard |

| On the Mac use 'connect to server' and mount the share when authenticated (remember to 'add to keychain', otherwise it'll still automount but continue to ask for authentication). Go to System Preferences>Accounts and click on your name. Then on the right, click 'login items', click the little '+' at the bottom and browse the the 'Computer View'. Select the share in question and click OK. Alternatively, if you can see it on the desktop whilst the Accounts pane is open, you can drag the icon in... Test and be happy! ATB PS: you can also drag an alias of the share to the (right hand side) of the dock, for access as well.
