Question Wireless connection detected, but cannot connect

Hello everyone,
I've got a WRT54G Linksys router. My macbook detects the internet connection, but it refuses to connect to the internet. My desktop however connects perfectly through the wireless connection. My macbook has previously connected perfectly to my university wireless connection. I've tried entering the router IP address 192.168.1.1 to get the configuration page for the router. A wireless connection does appear to be set up, as I can change a lot of the options having accessed that page. I have no idea why I cannot connect to the internet at all - no Skype, safari etc..

Please help me!!

Thank you!!
Jess

In Network Prefs > Show Airport > TCP/IP, tell us the details of all settings.
