wnowak1 is on a distinguished road
xserve on lan serving up pages...

I am running a dual g4 w/ 1GB of ram using OS X v. 10.3 which has samba and apache 1.3 installed as well as the latest stable release of mysql.

we are developing web pages (mainly php+mysql) locally and use the xserve to serve the pages.

Workstations used for development are windows xp. We noticed that when a page is saved and then refreshed, it doesn't always refresh the page... Cleaning up the cache doesn't seem to help and sometimes refreshing it several times is necessary in order to see the reflected changes.

I don't know if its a text editor causing a lock on the file, or a configuration error somewhere? It is annoying because if an error is made in coding, and you correct it, the error is "still there" because the changes aren't being shown.

Any advice you have is appreciated. Thanks!
