Quicktime reference movies

Hi,

I have some QT reference movies created using AfterEffects that act like an EDL, describing where cut-edits occur in the referenced media files.

I would like to be able to programmatically modify the references inside the QT file because the media files names will be changing.

Does anyone have any pointers to whether this is possoble, perhaps with the Quicktime API's.

Thanks in advance,

Andy
