| windows games hi, i really badly want to be able to play windows games. i want to play a game called jetpack which i love. i think it is a dos game but not certain. so is there and exe emulator or dos emulator i can somehow get. I have also heard of something called an exe to swf converter. is this real? is there any way i can play jetpack? any help please? |

| You could try something like Q (http://www.kju-app.org/kju/) if it's just a dos game. You'll need a Windows install disk though. Sorry I can't be more help I've never really been in a situation where I needed to use Windows since I switched.

| You could try DOSBox. It's made specifically for DOS games. Cocoon is supposed to be an easy-to-use wrapper for DOSBox. DOSBox seems to have better compatibility than I get with any other emulator (VPC, Q, etc.), but it's also slower. On my 1.25GHz G4, it's not fast enough for any but the simplest games. |
