You can have any number of mice connected via USB to your Mac BUT the machine can not distinguish among them.

If you think about it it makes some sense... there is only one mouse driver and one cursor no matter how many displays you may have. Your Mac treats all of your displays as a single (large) desktop.

Having said that there may be other solutions you might find useful.

There are pointing devices, mostly gaming units, that have their own drivers and are distinguished from mice. Some of these MAY be able to act programmatically as a pseudo-mouse. Check it out.

There are also software utilities that can be set up to automatically focus your mouse to a specific window or application. Again, check out sites like versionTracker.com or tucows.com for all sorts of these type of things.

OS X also provides Automator to enable you to streamline repetitive operations. A word of advice, though. Be VERY careful what you tell Automator to do when it comes to moving files around or deleting them as it does not ask for permission or warn you about what it is up to.

No, I don't. I will reopen this item in case another tech can provide you with more specifics.

Have a look at http://www.macupdate.com

You should be able to find something there.
