Hi,
I'm a new Mac user (switching over from 15+ years of pc use, so bear with me if this is a simple question.)
I have an HP Photosmart printer, that holds a memory card (mine is 128 mb). When hooked to my PC, I can put the card in, and instantly view & copy all the pics on the card.
I installed the printer on my powerbook with no problem, but can't figure out how to view the memory card.
I looked in the forums, but no help there either.
Thanks,
Amy

Have you tried downloading and installing up-to-date software for your printer?

The Image Zone software that came with your printer is updated by this download, and may be what you are needing.
Let me know how it goes..

Thanks, I had already downloaded that file, I can see the printer, but I don't know how to access the card. In Windows, it would be added as a new folder under my master drive, but I don't see it when I use finder. I think I'm just not looking in the right place and can't find support documentation on how to view it.

Will the Image Zone software let you download images from a card in the card reader?

I don't have "Image Zone" , I have "Image Capture" but that doesn't recognize the card. (It doesn't show I have any devices to add.) The card is a Microtech 128 MB.

Update - found HP Image Zone after downloading the updated driver, not the full software - which I thought should have checked for an updated driver, but didn't.
Thanks for working through this with me. The transition has been rockier than I expected.

The full software for Image Zone will be on the disc that shipped with the printer originally.
