Dear Alex,

My name is Vinko and I will attempt to assist you.

Can you please tell me how you downloaded the video from Google Video?

You mentioned that the video you have from Goolge Video is mp4 format. So I will assume that you chose the "Video iPod/Sony PSP" when you downloaded the video from Google.

Also when you say that you cannot add the movies into iTunes, are you dragging the movie to one of the sub section of Library in iTunes 7?

What do you mean ".... none of them worked"? Are you saying you cannot add the movie to your iTunes? Or unable to use the Convert function within iTunes to convert the file.

You can use Apple's support article "Verifying iTunes video conversion and iPod video syncing using sample QuickTime files" to test the process for your iTunes and 5G iPod.

Alternatively if you like you can also use a freeware program like iSquint to accomplish the same conversion procedure for videos that are not yet in iPod ready formats.

Although in your case, the videos downloaded from Google Video should already in iPod compatible format.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
